AREA OF PRODUCTION: The morainic hills of lake Garda in the local district of Lazise
SOIL COMPOSITION: From glacier origin, calcareous. Altitude 110 m
GRAPE VARIETIES:

Garganega (40%), Trebbiano T. (35%), Cortese (20%). Trebbianello (5%)

VINEYARDS:

Plant row with 5400 vines per hectare. The production is about 2,5 Kg per plant

GRAPE HARVEST:

Ripening and harvesting start in early September (Cortese, Trebbianello) through late September (Trebbiano T.), and until early October (Garganega)

VINIFICATION:

Mechanical harvesting, destemming in less then 45 minutes, immediate cooling. 24 hours maceration anf pressing. Separation of must and fermentation at controlled temperature (17–18 °C)

CHARACTERISTICS:         

Straw-yellow coloured with very attractive green reflection. Persisting smell with a chamomile and acacia's flavour. Sapid and mineral taste with a good structure

FOOD PAIRINGS:

Aperitifs, appetizers and first courses. Freshwater fish and white meat
